At a time when many telemetry companies are concerned about their funding and how to grow when commercial vehicle sales are plummeting, one young company - AutoAlert appears to be bucking the trend with new products, new customers and international expansion.
Previously, vehicle tracking has been complicated to install, complicated to use and expensive putting it out of the reach of the vast majority of companies in the UK and abroad. With three versions of its simple, cost effective and award winning Vehicle Tracking product, AutoAlert allows customers and even individuals to monitor, protect and better utilise their vehicles whether they have thousands of vehicles or even just one.
"Small vehicle fleets are faced with huge demands ranging from increased regulation to rising costs to intense competition" says Asheet Advani, Commercial Director of AutoAlert. "Unfortunately tracking systems are often complicated and expensive putting them out of the reach of most companies. However, with AutoAlert, anyone can gain from the benefits of this technology".
AutoAlert has three types of system, a low cost PAYG system, a comprehensive fleet tracking system and now an iPhone system which provides the benefits of AutoAlert without the need for additional units or installation.
With all AutoAlert systems, key data can be monitored through any web browser or from most colour mobile telephones and you can set up alerts to notify you if any vehicle is moved without the keys in the ignition, if the vehicle is tampered with or if a vehicle or person has strayed into a designated area.
