AutoAlert was born out of a desire to put key information about your vehicle at your fingertips.
Over 5 years ago, the founders realised that there was benefit in knowing what was happening to your vehicle even when you were not near it. This was of particular importance for vehicle security. Alarms were no good if you didn’t know they were going off. Alternatively, tracking technology was expensive with control concentrated in the hands of a distant call centre.
AutoAlert’s first on demand vehicle tracking product was launched to critical acclaim in 2005. However, AutoAlert didn’t rest on its laurels as it soon became evident that there were other applications for this technology
As more and more fleet owners saw the benefits of a simple, available anywhere tracking solution, AutoAlert realised the potential and enhanced its products for small fleets with real time tracking and reporting.
Hence, AutoAlert’s award winning vehicle tracking product was launched in 2007. It proved more simple, cost effective and easier to use than the complex technologies provided by other companies.
AutoAlert continues to innovate, launching its iPhone products towards the end of 2008.
